Will travel for beer

You ever put the tip of your tongue on a 9V battery? If not, this isn’t the time to try, but that’s pretty much what I remember my first sip of beer tasting like. It was a canned Budweiser (no shade, keep reading) and I can still recall the battery acid flavor in my mouth until this day. That was also the day I vowed I’d never drink beer again.

So here I am, almost 100 breweries later and counting– yes, even Budweiser. I find joy in traveling new places, meeting new people, and trying beers that are unique to them. Not one brewery is the same, and what I enjoy most is seeing and experiencing beer through the lens of other cultures and communities.

Pairswellwithbeer is a blog recounting my journey and experiences traveling for beer and along the way I hope you learn something new about people and places you may or may not be familiar with. I mapped out all breweries I’ve visited across the U.S. and beyond to document my craft beer travels. I won’t try to count the dive bars, beer gardens, beach huts, etc., but will share as many photos and stories from the places I’ve been on my beer journey.
